The average temperature per year is 18°C and the average sunny moment is 8 hours a day.
The best periods are spring and autumn as the temperatures are pleasant, the sun shines without too much heat and evenings are mildly fresh. For summer, the heat is unbearable and the Sahara wind (Chergui) instead of cooling, increases it.
In winter, temperature variations are important between day and night. The sun is here but woollen clothes should be worn at night, as many hotels and resorts don't have heating systems.
